Create a Master Page for SharePoint

I believe eneryone tried to create a master page for SharePoint and met some errors.Below is what you need to create a master page from scratch.
1. SharePoint Designer , create a new master page.
2. Add the below content placeholders
3. Add the master page in the master page library in your SharePoint Site Collection
4. Apply the master page to your sharepoint site,... and that's it..
